
Various topics were discussed at the meeting, including modern technologies, the significance of culture, theater, and cinema in society, as well as the core values that support Kyrgyz-Russian relations. Special attention was given to the development of student labor groups, sports, and media initiatives. The communication took place in an open discussion format, where participants exchanged opinions, addressed current issues, and outlined paths for further cooperation between Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
Rector of KRSU Sergey Volkov reported that the university received official confirmation for the allocation of land for a new campus. He presented the project for the new building and spoke about recent infrastructural changes at the university.
“We have finally received the long-awaited decision on the allocation of land for the construction of the campus. This is the result of our systematic work and the support of our partners. We are confident that this project will become a reality,” emphasized Sergey Volkov.
Addressing the students, Mikhail Shvydkoy highlighted the importance of personal contacts in the era of digitalization.
“One can talk a lot about technologies and digital platforms, but human interactions still hold immense significance. Moreover, their importance is only increasing,” he noted.
Shvydkoy also added that the development of universities is only possible with a strategic vision for the future.
“When people think about the future, it comes to life. If you don’t think about it, it won’t happen. What I see at your university speaks to an understanding of prospects and responsibility for tomorrow,” he emphasized.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in further developing humanitarian and educational cooperation. Students had the opportunity to ask questions about professional directions and participation in international projects.
