UNESCO to Consider Patronage of the VI World Nomad Games

At this first meeting, which took place after the appointment of Al-Anani, Sher-Niyaz emphasized that Kyrgyzstan intends to continue deepening cooperation with UNESCO, especially in the field of cultural and historical heritage protection. As part of this initiative, the republic nominated itself and was elected as a member of the UNESCO Executive Board for 2025-2029.

Al-Anani appreciated Kyrgyzstan's active participation in UNESCO projects and expressed readiness to consider the possibility of providing patronage for two significant events: the VI World Nomad Games and the International Issyk-Kul Forum named after Ch. Aitmatov.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed hope for strengthening practical cooperation and implementing joint projects between Kyrgyzstan and UNESCO.
