Recall that on September 13 of last year, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and head of the State National Security Committee Kamchybek Tashiev promised residents to build a new sports facility on the site of an abandoned field in the rural area of Gulistan. However, technical difficulties arose that affected the plans.
According to Sheishekano, specialists from the Kyrgyz Football Union (KFU) inspected the site and deemed it unsuitable for construction due to limited space. As a result of illegal land seizures in previous years, the area of the site has decreased, and currently, the 2 hectares intended for the stadium are occupied by a market.
Now, a multifunctional stadium, which will cost 385 million soms, will be built on the basis of the old stadium in the rural area named after Toktomat Zulpuyev. The project will be handled by the company "Kyrgyzstroyservice" with the support of the Presidential Administration.
On the site of the old field (with an area of 1.8 hectares), a new administrative cluster is planned to be built, which will include the district offices of key departments:
- Court and Tax Service;
- "Cadastre" and archive;
- Social protection.
“Currently, many services are in unsatisfactory condition. For example, the "Cadastre" and its archive are located in containers and the House of Culture. The new buildings will occupy about 80-90 hundredths, and the remaining area is planned to be turned into a green zone and park,” noted Daniyar Sheishekano.
Shukurullo Sattarov, head of the rural municipality of Gulistan, confirmed that the local council has already approved the transfer of land for state institutions, but the resolution is still being discussed at public hearings.
At the same time, the State National Security Committee continues to work on the return of about 20 hundredths of stadium land that were previously illegally transferred to private hands.
