This exemption will be in effect annually and will last until April 30, 2027.
As stated in the announcement, the aim of this initiative is to support confectionery and food production in the EAEU member states, as well as to develop local production and create added value within the union.
Imported cocoa butter may only be used for processing and producing final products within the territory of the respective EAEU member state. The use of this raw material for other purposes is prohibited.This requirement is aimed at stimulating the development of local production and improving the competitiveness of goods produced within the union.
