- During the negotiations, issues related to increasing the fleet with new aircraft and further strengthening cooperation in the field of civil aviation were discussed.

Sadyr Japarov noted that this cooperation is an important step towards improving civil aviation in the country, enhancing transportation reliability, ensuring flight safety, and expanding air communication.

The President emphasized that the aviation sector is demonstrating dynamic development, including the modernization of airport infrastructure and the expansion of regional routes, which meets international standards.

“Previously, we had four airports operating, and today all 11 are functioning, while construction of the international airport in Jalal-Abad continues,” he added.

In addition, the head of state reported that Kyrgyzstan is close to being removed from the European Union's "black list" regarding aviation safety, with the latest audit scheduled for this month. In this regard, Sadyr Japarov suggested that company leaders provide support in this process.

Johan Pellissier, for his part, positively assessed Kyrgyzstan's achievements in modernizing the aviation sector and expressed interest in long-term cooperation, including transportation and logistics aspects.

“We were pleased to learn that Kyrgyzstan is completing the EU audit and are ready to provide the necessary support,” he noted.

Maurice Prendergast, Senior Vice President of BBAM Leasing, added that the new aircraft will fully comply with international standards, and the company's specialists will assist their Kyrgyz colleagues in mastering the operational systems and technical features of the new aircraft.

At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to continue mutually beneficial and productive cooperation.
