This decision was made as part of organizational measures related to the reform of executive bodies in the field of education.
According to the new resolution, 13 institutions and departments have been renamed:
1) The Department for Quality Education Development under the Ministry of Education and Science will now be called the Department for Quality Education Development under the Ministry of Enlightenment;
2) The Center for Independent Certification and Validation will be renamed the Center for Independent Certification and Validation under the Ministry of Enlightenment;
3) The Psychological-Medical-Pedagogical Consultation will become the Psychological-Medical-Pedagogical Consultation under the Ministry of Enlightenment;
4) The institution "Kyrgyz Academy of Education" will change its name to "Kyrgyz Academy of Education under the Ministry of Enlightenment";
5) The Republican Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Educational Workers will now be called the Republican Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Educational Workers under the Ministry of Enlightenment;
6) The Health Center "Sanat" will also change its name to the Health Center "Sanat" under the Ministry of Enlightenment;
7) The Publishing House "Okuu Kitibi" will be renamed the Publishing House "Okuu Kitibi" under the Ministry of Enlightenment;
8) The Media Center "Kut Bilim" will become the Media Center "Kut Bilim" under the Ministry of Enlightenment;
9) The Centralized Accounting will change its name to the Centralized Accounting under the Ministry of Enlightenment;
10) The Republican Scientific and Methodological Center will be renamed the Republican Scientific and Methodological Center under the Ministry of Enlightenment;
11) The Republican Methodological Center for Physical Education, Sports, and Culture will now be called the Republican Methodological Center for Physical Education, Sports, and Culture under the Ministry of Enlightenment;
12) The Sanatorium-Preventorium "Barchyn" will become the Sanatorium-Preventorium "Barchyn" under the Ministry of Enlightenment;
13) The Republican Children's Engineering and Technical Academy "Altyn Tuyun" will be renamed the National Children's Engineering and Technical Academy "Altyn Tuyun".
In addition, changes have also affected other regulatory acts of the government concerning the salaries of employees in the education and culture system. The Ministry of Enlightenment has been tasked with developing new charters for the renamed institutions, as well as conducting their state re-registration and aligning decisions with the new resolution.
The resolution also cancels the previous Cabinet decision from September 7, 2023, concerning the state institution "Center for Digital Education" under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
This resolution will come into effect on February 6, 2026.
