According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, there is an increase in family conflicts during long weekends, many of which escalate into offenses and criminal acts.

Statistics show that the main severe consequences, including bodily injuries, threats, and acts of domestic violence, occur against the backdrop of alcohol consumption and domestic conflicts.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that during the holidays, law enforcement officers are operating in an enhanced mode and are ready to respond quickly to any reports of public order violations and family disputes.

Every citizen's appeal will be thoroughly checked and will receive a legal assessment.

The agency also reminded that actions related to physical violence, threats, psychological pressure, and insults are crimes. So-called "family disputes" cannot be considered a private matter if they affect the rights and safety of other people. Responsibility for such actions arises regardless of family ties and circumstances.

Special attention is given to violence against women, children, and the elderly. Each such report is treated with the utmost seriousness, and response measures are taken immediately.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges citizens to immediately call 102 in case of threats to life and health.
