Ashley St. Clair, the mother of one of billionaire Elon Musk's children, has initiated legal proceedings against the company xAI. The lawsuit is based on photographs created using the chatbot Grok, which depict her in compromising poses, including in revealing bikinis and in erotic situations.

St. Clair is seeking compensation for moral damages from the company, as well as the removal of these images. In response to her lawsuit, xAI filed a counterclaim, arguing that the complaint violates the user agreement, which states that all disputes must be resolved in the courts of Texas. Meanwhile, Ashley's lawsuit was filed in New York.

It was previously reported that the social network X limited the functions allowing the Grok neural network to generate obscene images of real people.

It is worth noting that in Malaysia and Indonesia, the government has already blocked Grok for creating intimate deepfakes, and the authorities in the United Kingdom are also considering taking similar measures against the neural network.

California Attorney General Rob Bonta has launched an investigation into this matter. According to the prosecutor's office, "more than half of the 20,000 images created by xAI from Christmas to New Year contained images of people, including possibly children, in minimal clothing."
