- At a meeting of the "Ala-Too" parliamentary group on January 16, 2026, MP of the Jogorku Kenesh Talaybek Masabirov pointed out that since Kyrgyzstan joined the EAEU, one of the main problems faced by domestic producers when exporting is the lack of necessary laboratory facilities and infrastructure.

He noted that this issue affects not only agricultural products but also the textile industry and other sectors of the economy.

Masabirov drew attention to the fact that some goods sent to Russia are being returned. "Currently, this situation is observed in the textile industry. Why don't we have a logistics center on the territory of the country?" — the MP asked.

Minister of Economy Bakyt Sydykov reported that a trade and logistics center (TLC) will be built on an area of 228 hectares as part of the Wildberries project. He added that the project is expected to create approximately 6,700 jobs and construct warehouse facilities. "The construction of the logistics center is planned to be completed by 2028," the minister noted.

During the discussion, Masabirov also emphasized the need to provide low-interest loans for enterprises in the textile industry, stressing that the light industry is one of the key components of Kyrgyzstan's economy.
