Chairman of the State Customs Service Almaz Saliev reported that interaction with the Russian side is taking place in an active format. According to him, 2–3 online meetings have already been held, a liaison officer from Kyrgyzstan has been appointed, and a mobile group is functioning at the border.
Saliev added that the State Customs Service has developed a special algorithm for quick response to situations when entrepreneurs are delayed at the border due to document discrepancies. This algorithm is currently under consideration by the Russian side, but no official response has been received yet.
In addition, the State Customs Service has sent a request to Russia asking for a list of reasons why citizens and entrepreneurs of Kyrgyzstan are stopped at the border.
According to Saliev, problems may arise due to an insufficient package of documents from freight carriers.
