It is expected that the point will be able to process over 1,000 vehicles per day, with the time required for a single vehicle to cross the border not exceeding 15 minutes.
The "Bedel" border crossing, located on the border between Kyrgyzstan and China, was opened on September 3, 2024, and is situated in the Issyk-Kul region. Since August 27, 2025, a road is being constructed from Barskon to Bedel, which will provide access to this point. Additionally, the new road will connect Kyrgyzstan with Chinese cities such as Aksu and Uchturfan. In the future, the government also plans to build a railway along a similar route.
