
During the conversation, the parties touched on important aspects related to the writing of history, the content of textbooks, the events of 1916 (Uruk), and the contribution of the Panfilov Division. Special attention was given to issues concerning Kyrgyz-Russian relations.
“We had a bit of a debate and exchanged opinions. We will continue the discussion in the future,” emphasized Arslan Koychiev.


The State Secretary also reported on four areas of cooperation that were agreed upon based on a previously signed memorandum:
- Creating conditions for Kyrgyz scholars to work in Russian archives;
- Organizing an international conference dedicated to the events of 1916;
- Free exchange of opinions on educational materials without pressure;
- Continuing research on the Panfilov Division, taking into account Kyrgyzstan's contribution.
Vladimir Medinsky's team was invited to participate in the Issyk-Kul Forum.
