The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, is preparing for her return to the United Kingdom, which will be her first visit to the country since the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022. According to preliminary information, she plans to accompany Prince Harry on his trip to Birmingham, timed to the "Invictus Games," which will take place in June 2026.

Since moving to the U.S. in 2020, when Prince Harry stepped back from royal duties, the Sussex family has faced serious security issues. Prince Harry himself has traveled to the UK several times without his wife and children, Archie and Lilibet, due to the high risks associated with their safety.

After losing the automatic right to government protection, Prince Harry began a lengthy legal battle with the UK Home Office. Despite unsuccessful attempts in previous court instances, he continues to challenge the decisions to regain security.

By 2026, circumstances began to change. According to sources, Prince Harry has reached certain agreements with the government that may allow him and his family to safely visit the UK. This return is expected to be a significant event in the media sphere.

As reported by Radar Online, Meghan Markle has made a number of demands for her stay at the Hyatt hotel. She requested the booking of four floors exclusively for her needs, as well as additional security working around the clock. Hotel staff are prohibited from looking at her, and they should address her solely as "Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex." Among the demands are also luxury cars and police escort from the airport to her residence.

Additionally, Markle has requested a personal chef to prepare all her meals, as well as four separate rooms for her assistant and styling team.
