According to a sociological study by Ipsos commissioned by Reuters, only 17% of Americans approve of Donald Trump's idea of "buying" Greenland.

At the same time, nearly half of the U.S. population, namely 47%, do not support the president's plans to gain control over the autonomous territory of Denmark.

Moreover, a significant portion of respondents, specifically 71%, believe that using military force to seize Greenland is a "bad idea." Only 4% of survey participants see it as a "good" option. Furthermore, two-thirds of those surveyed are convinced that such actions could negatively affect U.S. relations with European countries and NATO.

As for the importance of Greenland to the United States, opinions are divided. 33% of respondents consider the island strategically important, 32% disagree, and 35% were unsure.
