The deputy drew attention to the growth of the towing business and potential risks for car owners
Dastan Bekeshev, a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, shared information on social media about the growth of the car towing business, which brings significant profits to entrepreneurs.
The parliamentarian expressed the opinion that there is a need to introduce restrictions on cases of vehicle towing.
According to Bekeshev, the current situation is concerning: “At the moment, there are no clear rules. The business is actively developing, as the cost of towing is 1,600 soms for moving a car a distance of 3 to 7 kilometers. At the same time, there is a risk of damaging the vehicle, for which no one is held responsible. Towing should only be carried out in exceptional cases when fines are ineffective, and the vehicle truly obstructs emergency services or is parked in a prohibited area,” he noted.
