According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the village of Ak-Kiya in the Uzgen district of the Osh region, employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime detained a 53-year-old citizen, S.M., who had been wanted since 2024. This individual had multiple previous convictions and was part of an organized criminal group. The court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention for him.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime continue to work on the investigation of this case.
