The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has officially approved an extensive action plan aimed at implementing the National Development Program until 2030. This document was signed by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev and includes 900 specific steps focused on profound changes in the economy and social sphere.

The main goal of the authorities is to achieve a qualitative leap. According to the outlines of the plan, by 2030, Kyrgyzstan should achieve an average annual GDP growth of 8%, and the total volume of the economy should grow to 30 billion dollars. GDP per capita is also expected to increase to 4,500 dollars. The Republic aims to enter the top 30 countries in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and significantly improve its position in the Human Development Index.

The program is implemented through four key strategic directions. As part of industrialization, the creation of a National Industrial Development Fund, the launch of a network of technoparks, and the introduction of preferential loans for energy-efficient production are planned. The second direction will be to transform the country into a regional hub, with key projects such as the launch of the "China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan" railway, the opening of new border crossing points, including "Bedel," and the modernization of roads to the borders with China and Kazakhstan.

The third direction focuses on the agricultural sector and tourism. Plans include increasing the area of organic farming to 202,000 hectares, constructing class "A" agrilogistics centers, and attracting international hotel chains to develop ecotourism and sports recreation. The fourth strategic direction is related to green energy and includes large-scale construction and modernization of hydropower plants, such as the Kambarata HPP-1 and the Upper Naryn Cascade, as well as the laying of new high-voltage power lines.

In addition to economic initiatives, the plan also encompasses reforms in public administration, digitalization, anti-corruption efforts, and the development of education and healthcare. The successful implementation of all points of the plan should lay the foundation for long-term sustainability and the well-being of the citizens of Kyrgyzstan by the beginning of the next decade.
