
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev reported an average growth of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Kyrgyzstan at 9 percent over the past three years. This was the topic of discussion at a meeting with the IMF's resident representative Farid Talyshev.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the results of structural reforms carried out by the government in recent years. International rating agencies positively assessed Kyrgyzstan's efforts to stabilize business activity and modernize infrastructure. Torobaev noted that these reforms have significantly improved the investment climate and provided support to key sectors of the economy.
