An expert suggested developing small towns
In Bishkek, there is an active construction of apartment buildings in industrial zones. Local residents and foreign investors are increasingly choosing to invest in residential construction. However, the question arises: what to do with the industry, which is an important factor for the country's economic growth?
Professor of Economic Sciences Asylbek Ayupov believes that factories and plants should be located in small towns of Kyrgyzstan.
“There are such settlements as Kant and Kara-Balta, where industrial zones can be created. This not only contributes to the development of these towns but also creates new jobs,” he emphasized.
Regarding housing construction, the expert highlighted the insufficient infrastructure in the city.
“It is necessary to take into account the existing limitations on electricity, water supply, and sewage. Therefore, a balanced and thoughtful approach is required. Otherwise, serious problems may arise,” he warned.
