The Bishkek city administration has announced that citizens can send their comments and suggestions regarding the General Plan protocol, developed until 2050, until January 19, 2026.
It is also reported that on January 12, 2026, the results of the analysis of appeals and suggestions received from the city's residents were published on the mayor's office website.
As stated in the Regulation "On the conduct of public hearings of urban planning documentation in the Kyrgyz Republic," residents have the right to provide their feedback and suggestions within seven calendar days after the publication of the protocol by sending them to the local self-government body that organized these hearings.
If citizens disagree with the presented version of the protocol, they can submit their comments and suggestions until January 19, 2026, while the deadline of December 25, 2025, will be considered final for those who have already participated in the public hearings.
All feedback and suggestions are accepted through the official website of the Bishkek mayor's office in the "Citizen Appeals" section or in written form at the single window of the mayor's office at: Chuy Avenue, 166, marked "General Plan 2050," in accordance with the KR Law "On the Procedure for Considering Citizen Appeals."
It is important to note that the zoning scheme is currently not final and will be refined taking into account all received suggestions.
